It requires no tools and can be erected to multiple heights in five simple steps using the base section, the platform and standard aluminum components.
The base unit simply folds out and is set up on the stairwell. To reach the desired height add aluminum extensions, the platforms, the guardrails, toeboards and outriggers.

The Instant VX Stairwell Scaffold makes light work of overhead and wall access over stairways. It’s lightweight aluminum design and compact folding sections make it easy to handle, easy to build and easy to transport.
Manufactured with cold-formed (non-welded) Rib-Grip joints, the VX Stairwell is strong and highly durable.
Leg adjustment to suit stairway rise and run. Includes base plates. Compatible with standard Instant UpRight Span scaffold components.
Meets all applicable OSHA and ANSI standards.
